Scott Sutherland Project - Commando Heritage Trail - Plaque No.4

Many of you following the Commando Heritage Trail Project will be aware that, during Scott Sutherland's tenure at Duncan of Jordanstone College in Dundee, he created several of his famous works, including the 'Jock on the Hill' - The Black Watch Monument at Powrie Brae, Dundee.

During this period, the sculptor/artist resided at Newport-On-Tay where the fourth of the Commando Heritage Trail plaques will be unveiled on Thursday 13th April 2023 at his former residence.

We very much hope that members of the Sutherland Family may be able to join us on this occasion and we shall attempt to find time to join members of the Black Watch Association at the Powrie Brae monument.
