Dedicated Decision by the Committee

At a recent meeting,

Members of the Scott Sutherland (Commando Heritage Trail) Project determined to have the statue of the 'Leaping Salmon' dedicated to those who were injured or killed during Commando Training.

No such memorial currently exists and this would become a of both a salutary reminder of the dangers of Commando training and unique recognition of the sacrifices made by those who did not survive that challenge. We are grateful to the generous contributions of supporters who have provided the funds necessary to produce this plaque.
